Beyond Proc SQL: Extracting Dataset Vitals

When you get a SAS dataset, would you also like to get dataset vitals so that you can confirm and better know your data?  With the innovative Proc SQL technique I will introduce during this webinar, you can do just that! 

Won't it be nice to have a macro to provide dataset vitals such as the total number of observations, number of unique patients based on any conditions and if duplicate records exist based on key variables.  In CDISC programming, this becomes very useful to track progress from raw to SDTMs to ADaMs for example.  Ideally, datasets have the expected numbers for each important vital.  This Proc SQL technique is one that I doubt you have seen in any book or tip since it takes an unconventional approach to address these challenges.  I was not even sure Proc SQL could do this until I pushed the envelope.
